URGENT - Valentine's Day Roses

Dear all

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PROMOTION FOR ROSES HAS HAD TO BE WITHDRAWN.

Greenwich Councils Technical department have decided that the grounds are now unsuitable for replanting of roses and as such we are no longer able to plant them.

This is the second event that has been let down by the council who have failed in their responsibilities to these gardens over the past 10years.

As such Sarah Culley will now serve as Chair until further notice.

Once again our apologies for the withdrawl of this event.

Valentine's Day Roses at Rockliffe Gardens

Hello everyone, we hope you had a good Christmas and New Year despite the economic doom and gloom.

We would like to think we can help you as well as the Gardens with our credit crunch Valentine's Day initiative.  Why spend £30 on a bunch of roses that will only last a week when you can cut the cost and buy roses that will last for generations.

Buy a rose bush and help us restore the rose gardens at Rockliffe Gardens.  In return we will send you a gift card with your personal message and tag your plant so you can easily identify it when you come to visit.

All you need to do is choose your rose bush (or bushes) from the selection below, email us your selection and personal message (rockliffe@live.co.uk) and we will email your gift card.

Currently payment can be made by cash or cheque (payment address will be emailed with your order confirmation).

All orders received by 5pm on 15th February will be planted at the beginning of March.

Roses can also be ordered during the rest of the year for birthdays, dedications and celebrations.  Planting dates will be advised periodically.

Event Cancellation Notice

It is with no small amount of regret that I have to announce that the carols in the Gardens has had to be cancelled due to circumstances beyond our control.

We will be running another event in the new year and will also be running regular clearing days, dates to follow.

Once again we are extremely sorry for the cancellation of this event but we wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
